Info: Abdulahad Astepho was born on 10 March 1957 in Qamishli. He is a founding and prominent member of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces. He participated in founding the Syrian National Council and worked in its executive office. He is also a founding member of Damascus Declaration committees in the Netherlands and Belgium. He was the head of the European branch of the Assyrian Democratic Organization from 2010 to 2012. He was a member of the Negotiating delegation to Geneva from January 2014 to December 2017. He has been a member of the political committee of National Coalition since its establishment. Astepho is currently the vice president of the National Coalition and head of its foreign relations department. He is the coordinator of the elections committee of the Syrian Negotiation Commission, and a member of the Constitutional Committee. He contributed to a number of research projects, articles, lectures and conferences in Arabic, Syriac, English and French on the philology and history of Semitic languages. He is also a participant in conferences held by the EU institutions in Brussels on human rights and minorities since 1991.
