World Youth Skills Day
15 July
In 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared 15 July
as World Youth Skills Day
to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills necessary for employment and empowerment
Young males and females are the genuine wealth of the country
And they are the ones who suffer the most from marginalization, the consequences of armed conflicts and political instability
It is necessary to provide them with major opportunities to build their skills and improve their talents and creative energy
And address all challenges that impede their access to the labor market
And engage them in building the country and ensure that they are not excluded or marginalized.
The new draft constitution shall ensure expanding the participation of the youth in social, economic, cultural and political development
Ensure helping them in educational, scientific, cultural, social and vocational fields
And giving them fair representation in the parliament
It shall also ensure engaging them in developing and implementing governmental programs and strategies
The youth shall have dedicated institutions in order to motivate them to engage in national life with a spirit of responsible citizenship
