The political body meets and focuses on terrorist operations and the results of the fifth session of the Constitutional Committee
The political body of the Syrian National Coalition held its periodic meeting, and focused on the terrorist bombings that affected civilian areas, in addition to the developments of the political process and the results of the fifth session of the Syrian Constitutional Committee.
The President of the Syrian Interim Government, Abd al-Rahman Mustafa, and Interior Minister Mohieddin Harmoush participated in the meeting, and they discussed together all the decisions and measures taken to thwart terrorist operations, and to prosecute criminals and all those involved in those operations.
The Head of the Interim Government stressed that the terrorist bombings come within a systematic framework, and the enemies of the revolution are behind them, whether the PYD militias, ISIS or the regime, adding that there are many parties that are not in their interest to achieve stability and security in the liberated areas.
Mustafa clarified that the Syrian Interim Government is in the process of issuing new decisions to control the borders, and adopting new work mechanisms for the internal crossings.
Then the head of the Syrian Negotiating Committee Anas al-Abdah, and the co-chair of the Syrian Constitutional Committee Hadi al-Bahra gave a briefing on the course of the fifth session of the Syrian Constitutional Committee, where al-Abdah explained that it was clear that the regime did not want to activate the work of the committee, and was seeking to obstruct its work and not delve into Any discussion of constitutional contents.
