UN official: There is no clear timetable for the Syrian “constitution committee” talks

The UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, said that there is no final date and no clear timetable regarding the Syrian Constitutional Committee talks.

This came in a press conference held by the UN official, at the headquarters of the United Nations office in Geneva, prior to the start of the fourth round of the Syrian Constitutional Committee talks, from November 30 to December 4, 2020.

He explained that the fourth round of talks will start tomorrow morning, while the fifth round is scheduled to start next January, unless it is postponed due to the Corona epidemic.
